Our Philosophy
Group sessions promote co-operation, social interaction and awareness.

Although individuality is encouraged at Panda Ludoteca we also emphasise the importance of group sessions. These sessions develop social skills within the group in a fun and educational way.

Our daily group sessions include an introduction to numbers, letter and colours. We also count in Spanish and English. This learning is reiterated throughout the day in connection to whatever activity the child is performing.

Other group activities include singing, art, music and dance.

A full and varied day ensures you child achieves the correct blend between education and play

Young children have a limited attention span and are easily distracted. At Panda Ludoteca we ensure that a variety of activities are always accessible to your child. The activities include books, puzzles, board games, dressing up and selected toys. This variety allows for choice and limits any possible negative behaviour occurring when you child has tired of their current activity.

Good manners and mutual respect are actively encouraged.

Our children are taught the basic social skills. Hand washing after using the toilet and before eating, helping lay the table at snack time and wiping the table afterwards. The children are reminded to say please and thank you.

Encouraging good behaviour and discipline.

At Panda Lodoteca our policy is to focus strongly on positive behaviour. This is important for a child's self-esteem and confidence. In a larger group this tends to be overlooked. With our small class size this is less likely.
